Pitso Mosimane, one of the best coaches on the continent has praised former AC Milan and Inter star Sulley Muntari for making a return to the Ghana Premier League.
Sulley Aliu Muntari joined Accra Hearts of Oak in the transfer window on a year deal after an illustrious career in Europe, where he won the UEFA Champions League with Inter Milan.
Al Ahly coach, Pitso Mosimane who has been monitoring events in Ghana before the Super Clash between Hearts and Kotoko expressed delight in seeing Muntari return to the domestic league.
“I saw that the legend is back playing for Hearts of Oak. Muntari, what a midfielder he is. It’s always a pleasure to watch Muntari play,” he told Joy Sports.
Sulley Muntari played 63 minutes as the Phobians were held at home by Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The former Portsmouth player made his debut for Hearts against Great Olympics before making the trip to Tamale to play RTU.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach also spoke about the achievements of two of the world's highly rated managers, Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel.
The South African is full of admiration for Pep Guardiola but thinks Thomas Tuchel could surpass him in terms of achievement.
“Pep is a top coach and a legend. For me, he is the number 1 coach in the world at the moment. There are many other great coaches,” said Mosimane.

Football“I have respect for Thomas Tuchel, he humbled me in the Club World Cup when he spoke to me. I just feel Pep has won a lot more than Tuchel but with Tuchel it is a matter of time. He [Tuchel] is young and probably could pass Pep. But Pep also keeps winning so it won’t be easy.”

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana legend Stephen Appiah was one of the high profile personalities to grace the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Sunday in Accra.
The former Black Stars captain arrived at the Accra Sports Stadium to support his former teammate Sulley Muntari and club.
Appiah in photos posted on Twitter is seen wearing the Hearts of Oak jersey with Sulley Muntari's name inscribed at the back.
