Defender Davinson Sanchez headed in a Heung Min Son free kick in the sixth minute of added time to completely break Watford fans’ hearts at Vicarage Road.
The game was slightly delayed in the second half after a supporter was taken ill in the Graham Taylor Stand.
Both sides will feel aggrieved with the referee Rob Jones, who turned down penalty appeals from both teams in either half.

Having been in complete control of the game, Tottenham were left scratching their heads on how they were yet to get past the Hornets, with the game meandering towards its ending.
