Alice Tawiah, the lady commentator, who went viral for running a commentary at one of the bus stations in Accra during the strike by drivers and conductors says she admires Sulley Muntari.
According to the lady, she became a fan of the Black Stars because of the former AC Milan and Inter Milan player, but also adds she stopped watching football after the 2010 World Cup.
Narrating the story to Onua FM, Ms Tawiah says commentary comes to her naturally and it is not something she has thought of doing professionally.
"I really like Sulley Muntari, he is fearless and brave and that is a kind of person I like. So when he was playing for the Black Stars, I was a full Black Stars supporter," she said.
Sulley Muntari has not officially announced his retirement from the game of football, despite being inactive for almost three years.
He last played for the Black Stars at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil 2014, where he was later sacked from camp due to disciplinary issues.
Woman runs commentary at 'trotro' station
Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, a lady has been spotted running commentary as striking commercial bus drivers and conductors engage in a football match at one of the lorry stations.
The lady, who is known by the name Ekua is believed to be a trader at the Ashaiman lorry station and is seen skillfully giving a vivid play-by-play update as a team of two sets engage in serious football.
In a video posted on Social Media, spotted by YEN.com.gh, the lady seems to understand the game and could make a living out of it.
