Super Eagles sensational winger Samuel Kalu was on target for Bordeaux in their 2-1 defeat to Metz earlier this weekend.
The 23-year-old powered a clinical effort from close range to hand the home team the lead just after 14 minutes of action with Youssouf Sabaly responsible for the assist.
Although the goal was not enough to rescue salvage a point for Les Girondins after two second-half goals from Thomas Delaine and Vagner Gonclaves turned the result in favour of the visitors.

However, the goal raised Kalu's French League tally to four while also creating an assist so far this campaign.
Meanwhile, in spite of his club's average performances in the Ligue 1, the attacker has continued to make a case for himself in the national team with his individual performances.
Especially as the national team is expected to assemble in March for their 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.
It will be difficult for the Eagles boss to overlook the winger who is doing well relatively well for himself in one of the top five European Leagues in the world.
The forward should also hope he avoids injury because that might be his greatest setback when the national team camp opens sometime this month.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu has continued his blistering form in Europe after he found the back of the net in Genk’s 2-1 victory over Sporting Charleroi in Friday’s Belgian First Division A game.
The Nigerian international has been in sparkling form so far this season and has now scored 25 league goals in 26 matches this season.
He inspired John van den Brom’s side to return to winning ways after they had lost to Beerschot and KV Oostende earlier.
