Portugal have put up the captain armband Cristiano Ronaldo slammed on the ground after his goal against Serbia was disallowed to raise money for a six-month-old boy.
The 36-year-old was extremely disappointed after watching the referee embarrassingly deny him the winner in their World Cup qualifier which ended in a 2-2 draw over the weekend.
Ronaldo did not only slammed the symbol of authority after the incident, he also walked out of everyone and headed straight into the dressing room even when the game was still on.

However, a stadium worker who picked the armband handed it over to a charity organisation that is using it to raise funds for the surgery of a six-month-old boy from Serbia with spinal muscular atrophy as reported by Daily Mail.
The charity group hopes the story around the armband will help them raise big money, with item available in an online auction for three days.
Meanwhile, Cristiano has been openly criticised for his outburst with some believing he would have successfully set a wrong example for younger players.
His actions could also attract sanctions from FIFA as he left the pitch while the game was going on - although in the extra minutes of the game.
The Juventus star was left furious after his goal despite crossing the line was missed by the referee after Serbia defender Stefan Mitrovic clear the ball a second too late.
After the incident, Ronaldo took to social media to express his apologies adding that it is a privilege to wear the Portugal armband. He said on Instagram:
"I give and will always give my all for my country, that will never change. But there are difficult moments to cope with, especially when we feel like an entire nation is being harmed. Head up and face the next challenge! Come on Portugal!"
Ronaldo has now scored 103 international goals for his country - leaving him six more goals to equal Ali Daei's 109 goals record.
