Six Barcelona Players Reportedly Blacklist Lionel Messi at Camp Nou
- Lionel Messi is currently having issues with six Barcelona players at Nou Camp
- This is because of his decision to hand the club a transfer request last season
- Dembele and Samuel Umtiti are among these six Barcelona players
Lionel Messi who is the captain of Spanish giants Barcelona has reportedly been left dejected after being continuously snubbed in the dressing room by six players at Nou Camp.
This is because of Lionel Messi's decision to hand in a transfer request following the club's disappointing campaign last season in all competitions.
Last term, Barcelona failed to win any title and even crashed out of the Champions League in an embarrassing fashion after their defeat against Bayern Munich.
That made Messi angry and told the club's chiefs that he wanted to leave the club where he has spent most of his playing career.
However, Barcelona chiefs succeeded in persuading Lionel Messi to stay at Nou Camp for this ongoing League season with the help of his father.
According to the report on Sportsbible, Riqui Puig, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Ousmane Dembele, Miralem Pjanic, Samuel Umtiti and Junior Firpo are the players who don't talk to Messi again.
These players are said to be livid with Lionel Messi's transfer request before the start of the 2020/21 Spanish La Liga season.
But the report added that Lionel Messi still has the backing of senior players like Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Gerard Pique.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are currently occupying fifth position on the Spanish La Liga table with 24 points after 14 games played so far this term.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona captain Lionel Messi landed another remarkable achievement in his professional career after scoring for the Catalans against Valencia in League game.
The Argentina international is now the second player on earth to score 450+ goals in the top five Leagues in Europe and Lionel Messi is behind Cristiano Ronaldo who has 459 goals.
Lionel Messi is no doubt one of the best forwards in the world considering his massive achievements since he broke into Barcelona's first team in 2004.
He has won six Ballon d'Or awards so far in his career and one more than his rival Cristiano Ronaldo who has five in his cupboard.
