Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is celebrating Christmas with family members as the Manchester United star struck a pose and shared on his Instagram handle.

This is coming barely 24 hours after he joined his club teammates as they shared gifts and messages to three hospitals at Greater Manchester.

On Christmas Eve, United stars were unable to physically visit the hospitals due to the continued spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

But that did not deter the club as they delivered presents to them and then players recorded special video messages to encourage staff and patients at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, The Christie and Francis House Children’s Hospice.

Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo also took part of the exercise and then said:

"It is unfortunate that we could not visit the hospitals this year, as it is something I really liked to do when I was last here at Old Trafford.

"It’s so important that we give our support to the young people at this special time of year and it’s an honour for me to be part of this again."

Ronaldo's teammate Scott McTominay explained how important it is to continue this tradition around this time of year.

And on Christmas Day, the player was seen with his immidiate and extended family members as the posted for a picture.

Ronaldo’s pregnant girlfriend and all their four children were also spotted as they were clad in red and white robes to signify Christmas.
