A former Italian star Antonio Cassano has disclosed that he fears no one in the game of football and not even Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Daily Post reports.

Cassano revealed that Ronaldo sent him a text message demanding respect following his comments which seemed not to have gone down well with the striker.

The ex-Italian defender is known to be vocal about his opinion and back in February, Cassano branded Ronaldo as ‘selfish’.

He said:

“He doesn’t care if others score, he only lives to score himself. He doesn’t live for football, he lives for his own goals, it’s clear.”

He had said that Ronaldo is not even in the top five of the best players in football history after the player’s agent Jorge Mendes said he was the greatest of all time.

It was gathered that CR7 was not impressed about the opinion and sent messages to the former AC and Inter Milan defender.
