England star becomes youngest and fastest player to reach landmark of assists in top European League

Jadon Sancho has continued to justify why he is being wanted by top Premier League sides following his recent performance for Dortmund, Daily Mail.

The England international became the youngest player to reach 50 assists in the Bundesliga in less than 100 games.

Dortmund were 3-0 winners over Arminia Bielefeld and Sancho provided Mahmoud Dahoud's assist for their team's first goal.

It took the Englishman 20 years and 339 days to reach the milestone and he deservedly got a goal of his own to double the advantage for the Yellow Canaries.

On loan Real Madrid star Reinier rounded off the scoring in the 81st minute after a well-organized counter-attacking move started by Sancho as the final pass was delivered by Erling Haaland.

Sancho reached the landmark in his 99th game for Dortmund and made it his 11th Bundesliga assist of the campaign in 21 matches.

He also scored his sixth Bundesliga goal and 36th overall from a spot-kick after Amos Pieper fouled team captain Marco Reus.

Sancho was strongly lined to Premier League side Man United last summer but the move failed to materialize.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has given the go-ahead to Thomas Tuchel to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland in the summer, Daily Mail reports.

The 20-year-old has been in fascinating form for the Yellow Canaries since his January 2020 move from Red Bull Salzburg.

According to German news media outlet Bild, the Russian billionaire has thrown his weight behind former Dortmund boss to sign the £107million rated forward.
