When was Gernot Rohr appointed as Super Eagles coach?

Gernot Rohr was appointed the Super Eagles coach in 2016 following the departure of Sunday Oliseh who threw the towel and the German has taken the three-time African champions to two tournaments.

His first major tournament with the Super Eagles was the 2018 World Cup in Russia where Nigeria failed to qualify from the Group stages.

Rohr also took the Super Eagles to the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt where the team finished as third best.

Is Augustine Eguavoen the right man for the Super Eagles?

Having played 49 games for the Super Eagles during his active playing time, Augustine Eguavoen is not a new man as he has also coached the Nigerian team from 2005 to 2007 and also caretaker in 2010.

Super Eagles star scores 7th EPL goal as his club suffers disappointing loss against tough opponents

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis on Friday night, December 10, scored his 7th goal of the season in the Premier League but it was not enough as Watford suffered 1-2 loss at Brentford.

Watford started the Premier League encounter impressively at the Community Stadium and had to wait until the 24th minute before netting their goal through Emmanuel Dennis who benefited from Tom Cleverley's cross.

The first-half lead put the Hornets on course to end their three-game losing streak until they conceded two late goals.

Pontus Jansson equalised for the Bees in the 84th minute and Bryan Mbeumo scored a 95th-minute winner from the penalty spot.
