Liverpool superstar Mohammed Salah is reportedly demanding a massive weekly wage at Anfield as a yardstick for him to stay at the club.

According to the report on UK Sun, Mohamed Salah is said to be asking for the record sum of KSh 61 million (£400,000-a-week) at Liverpool to stay with the Reds.

As things stand presently, Mohamed Salah's deal will expire in the year 2023 and Liverpool chiefs want to tie him down for more longer period of time.

Salah, 29, has netted 135 goals in 213 games for Premier League side Liverpool following his £34million from Roma and he is still gearing up to score more for the Reds.

Clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are said to be interested in the signing of Mohamed Salah and will make move for him when the transfer window opens.

Salah fof Ballon d'Or

As far as the Ballon d'or is concerned, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes Liverpool Salah should remain at the Premier League side for him to have the chance to win the accolade.

The Egypt international is currently in the form of his life this season for Liverpool and is the current top scorer in the league with seven goals.

Names of 30 men have been announced for this year's Ballon d'Or and Salah is among the contenders.

Chelsea star Jorginho is also in the frame for the award this year following his incredible performances winning the Champions League and also the EURO 2020.
