MUnited made the worst possible start to the game as a series of unrelenting attacks from their neighbors led to Eric Bailly skewing a cross into his own net.

At the stroke of half time, Bernardo Silva put the result in doubt as he squeezed the ball past De Gea from a Joao Cancelo cross in the near post.

In truth, United did not look like getting back in the game as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were completely outclassed on Saturday afternoon.

Roy Keane has always been critical of United’s performances in recent seasons but his criticisms have always been strong-worded and laced with concern.

On Saturday, however, the Ireland international looked resigned while discussing his former team and found himself declaring “I give up”, while talking about the Red Devils’ defence.

“These are international footballers. I cant understand the defending. I give up,” Keane said in a typical passionate rant.
“I’m driving over here today thinking. They are at home maybe they have a chance. But it’s two at the moment and unless United do something drastic, it’s going to be four or five,” Keane analysed at half time.

Lucky for the former Manchester United captain, City resorted to game management in the second half and did not add to their two-goal lead.

For United, their only shot on target on the day came from Cristiano Ronaldo in the first half.

Roy Keane says the trio of McTominay, Fred, and Bailly are not good enough for Man United

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Man United legend Roy Keane has singled out three Red Devils players for blame after the side's 2-0 defeat against rivals City at Old Trafford.

Man City were completely dominant against the Red Devils as Pep Guardiola outfoxed tactically his opposite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Eric Bailly scored an own goal to hand the visitors the lead inside 14 minutes of action before Bernardo Silva doubled the advantage on the stroke of halftime.

While there were no goals recorded in the second half, there was nothing pleasant to write home about for United, with the defeat further compounding Solskjaer's woes at the club.

Reacting to the loss, Keane noted the trio of Bailly, Scott McTominay is not good enough for the club.
