Man United have reportedly entered the race to sign Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger has become the subject of transfer speculation, with the German yet to renew his contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old has formed an important part of Thomas Tuchel since his arrival at Chelsea in January and was influential during the Blues' Champions League triumph last season.
However, with the centre-back's deal set to expire at the end of the season, the west Londoners are in danger of losing him for nothing if he fails to agree a new one.
Tuchel is understood to be keen for Rudiger to extend his stay with Chelsea but the defender remains non-committal.
Rudiger's contract situation has seen him court interest from several European clubs, with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich among those he has been linked with.
The Independent now reports rivals Man United have also registered interest in the services of the Germany international.
However, the publication added Rudiger would prefer to leave the Premier League altogether should he decide to dump the Blues.
As things stand, Real Madrid are believed to be leading to race to sign Rudiger, with reports suggesting brother and agent brother Sahr Senesie has already held talks with the Spanish club.
An ‘informal agreement’ is said to have been reached between Real and Rudiger’s representative after successful talks in November.
Meanwhile, Tuchel has not hidden his desire to keep his countryman at Stamford Bridge, describing his performance in recent months as "outstanding."

FootballRangnick wants Werner
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported Ralf Rangnick is reportedly keen to raid Chelsea for Timo Werner.
Werner has struggled to live up to his billing since joining Chelsea from the Bundesliga in 2020.
The German striker has managed to score just seven Premier League goals in 43 appearances.
However, he could be offered a lifeline at Man United with Rangnick said to be keen on his services.
