England will look to avenge their Euro 2020 final defeat against Italy as they were drawn against Roberto Mancini's men in the group stage of the competition.

Also in the tough group is Hungary as both teams also met during their World Cup qualification round as the Three Lions are already through to Qatar.

Gareth Southgate and co reached the final four of the Nations League in 2019 but failed to make the same stage last time out.

Mourinho wants Tammy Abraham in England line up

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has stated that he wants to build a monster out of Tammy Abraham for the England national team.

The 23-year-old who joined Roma from Chelsea has scored two goals in five matches and the Portuguese gaffer is keeping faith in the Englishman.

Abraham was snubbed by Gareth Southgate for Euro 2020 and is yet to recall the former Aston Villa man for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

And Mourinho believes the England born-Nigerian should be given more international caps after just making three appearances with the Three Lions.

France looking to defend crown

France emerged winners of the last UEFA Nations League following a 2-1 win over Spain in the final played at the San Siro.

Les Bleus had to come from behind again to win the contest just as they did in the semi-final clash with Belgium.

Kylian Mbappe scored the winner after he was initially was adjudged to be in an offside position as he put the ball past Unai Simon to make it 2-1.
