Liverpool star Mohammed Salah was recently left stunned after coming face to face with a waxwork that looked exactly like him.
The 29-year old winger went to view the model at the Madame Tussauds in London in a private affair and was thrilled at the uncanny resemblance of the waxwork to himself.
While speaking after seeing the waxwork for the first time, Salah said:
"That looks exactly like me, it is like I am looking into the mirror. Does he have abs or no?"
Photos of the Liverpool ace next to the piece of art have since gone viral online and in all honesty, it is hard to distinguish between the two.
Tim Waters, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, was also delighted the Liverpool star finally saw the waxwork in real-time.
"Mo Salah is one of the game's greats, arguably the best in the world right now, and incredibly deserving of a Madame Tussauds London figure." He said as quoted by The Sun.
On the pitch, Salah has excelled as a player since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017.
He has won the Premier League golden boot on two occasions and was instrumental in Jurgen Klopp’s side’s surge towards Premier League glory in 2020.
His superb form has continued well into the 2021/22 season as he is currently the top scorer in the league with seven goals.
In his last outing, he scored a contender for goal of the season against Watford, expertly dribbling past several defenders before cutting inside for a trademark curler off the post.
His next assignment is however a tough one as Liverpool face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, October 24.
