Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, October 30, were forced to a 2-2 disappointing draw at home by Brighton in tough Premier League game as Jurgen Klopp's men allowed the visitors to come back twice.
After beating Manchester United mercilessly 5-0 in their last Premier League game, fans were expecting Liverpool to continue with their impressive performance against Brighton, but they were unable to win.
The Reds started the encounter impressively and they waited until the 4th minute before captain Jordan Henderson gave them the lead in wonderful style.
Man of the moment Mohamed Salah had the chance to increase the tally for Liverpool five minutes later, but his shot was parried away for a corner.
Senegal international Sadio Mane scored the second goal for Liverpool in the 24th minute, but the visitors pulled one back before the end of the first half through Enock Mwepu.
Liverpool came out aggressive in the second half looking for another goal, but Brighton defenders were at the top of their game denying the Reds all chances.
Brighton however restored parity in the 65th minute through Leandro Trossard and all efforts by Liverpool to score the winner were abortive as the encounter finished 2-2.
