There were rumours that former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero had split with his girlfriend Sofia Calzetti, but she has put them to bed with a touching post holding the superstar's hand.
The Barcelona striker was rushed to the hospital over the weekend after he suffered what medics refer to as breathing problems.
Sergio Aguero was diagnosed with a heart condition, barely 24 hours after he was forced off during the 1-1 draw against Alaves.
The Argentine was making his first start for Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Saturday, September 30, but had to go off after 41 minutes as he cited discomfort on his chest.
In worrying scenes, the Argentine was seen holding his chest before going down on the pitch; thankfully, he was able to walk himself away from the action.
And his girlfriend Sofia shared a picture on her Instagram handle, showing her squeezing the 33-year-old’s hand after it was confirmed he is out for at least three months.
She added the caption followed by a heart emoji:
“Today more than ever I love you.”
She posted the snap on Instagram after Aguero’s new team Barcelona confirmed his forced lay-off while he is monitored by doctors.
Only a few days earlier, Argentine media outlets reported that the pair had ended their relationship.
Sofia’s post confirming all is well between her and the Barcelona striker came at the same time Aguero’s mother shared a post showing she had visited him alongside his brother and girlfriend.
Aguero out for three months
In the wake of Aguero’s plight, Barcelona have since released a statement confirming their star will be out of action for another three months, at least, as his condition continues to be monitored.

PSG could terminate Sergio Ramos’ contract
Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering the option of letting Sergio Ramos go after the former Real Madrid defender is yet to feature for the club since his arrival in the summer.
Having spent more than 15 years in the Spanish capital, the Spaniard joined the Parisians on free transfer about four months ago.
He is expected to bolster the club’s defence which already has the likes of Marquinhos and Presnel Kipembe.
PSG are seriously considering terminating Ramos' contract. They believe his injury issues are a stumbling block.
If these fitness issues recur, the French giants feel parting ways with the Spaniard may no longer be a 'dystopian scenario'.
