Former MFM FC midfielder Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has stated that playing for the senior national football team is a dream come through for him.
The 26-year-old who currently plays for FK Mash'al Mubarek of Uzbekistan made his debut for the Super Eagles team B in 2017 and also earned a call up to the main team.
In a recent chat with Legit.ng, the former Akwa United who was part of the Nigeria U20 squad to the 2015 World Cup in New Zealand disclosed that he would prefer to play in Europe.
He was quick to however mention that the best offers will determine his next move as he needs to put his family in a better place.
He said:
“It feels good to be called up by the Super Eagles Team B which led to me being called up for the Team A on standby. It’s every players dream to represent her country, it’s a dream come through for me.
“I prefer to play in Europe because that is where the football is centered. I am looking for money to put my family in a better place and give them the best life they deserve so I don’t mind playing anywhere.”
Recounting how the journey stated, Ifeanyi stated that the journey has not been smooth, but dedicated his achievements so far to God.
He added:
“The football journey has not been easy, playing from MFM to the national team, to Akwa United, to E.S Setif Algeria, back to Akwa and to Mashal in Uzbekistan where I am currently playing; God has been faithful, this is all I would say.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier repprted that Nigerian striker who last played for Ghanaian side Accra Hearts of Oak, Danjuma Kuti, has disclosed that he has set his sights on playing in the Italian Serie A.
Kuti parted ways with Heart of Oaks last year and as a free agent, the player claimed he has been receiving offers but will take his time to settle for the best option.
The 23-year-old began his professional career with NPFL side Lobi Stars of Markurdi before he signed for Fujairah FC of Dubai where Diego Maradona was the manager in 2018.
Kuti was signed to the United Arab Emirate First Division league in 2018 as his exploits caught the attention of the former player, who also invited him to the senior team for a training session.
