Odion Ighalo quickly rushed back home to say hello to his mum shortly after the Super Eagles were held by Cape Verde at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
The Al-Shabab striker failed to find the back of the net but will be happy with his performance against the Blue Sharksin Surulere.

Ighalo posted a video on his Instagram to pay homepage this beloved mum popularly known as 'Mama Al-Shabab'.
The 33-year-old was reigned with eulogies from his mum as she called him 'the true son of Igahlo' and spoke their local dialect as she hugged him.
In another video posted by the former Man United star, he was seated on the dining table with his mother as he was served rice, cucumber, eggs, beef, plantain and sausages for dinner.
The striker could not resist the food prepared by his mum as they dined together after a rough day serving the national team.
Ighalo made a sensational return to the Super Eagles after almost two years off and featured in both qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.
The ex-Watford forward was not looking too sharp but he made some key passes to his strike-partner Victor Osimhen which nearly threatened the Cape Verdian goalkeeper.
