Odion Ighalo has disclosed that he was offered a massive $300,000 which is around KSh 34 million a week deal for him to stay in the Chinese League which he rejected before moving to Manchester United.
While speaking with Super Eagles teammate Troost-Ekong in a question and answer segment on social media, Ighalo explained that he rejected the big offer because of his dream to play in the Premier League.
There is no doubt about the fact that the Premier League is one of the best Leagues in the world considering the players who play there and those who have made their names in EPL.
The likes of Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Etebo are some of the Nigerian players currently playing in the Premier League and are doing well for their clubs.
''They have already accepted the offer from China for me to play in there and they started calling me that I should prepare to sign which I rejected.
''I was offered $300,000 to play in China, but I told them that my dream is to play in the Premier League.''
At Manchester United, Odion Ighalo played at Old Trafford for one year and was impressive for the Red Devils in Europa League even though he did not score in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Odion Ighalo currently plays for Al-Shabab in the Saudi Arabian League and he is expected to travel to Cameroon with the Super Eagles for the 2022 AFCON.

FootballIghalo recently made the day of a number of widows in the Ajegunle area of Lagos state after buying them a house.
The Nigerian international is said to have grown up in ‘AJ City’ as Ajegunle is famously called and he has returned ‘home’ to assist the widows for the betterment of their lives.
The Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia striker was seen in a clip as he was welcomed by scores of widows in the area as they danced and shared encouraging messages.
And then one of the widows grabbed the microphone and prayed for the 32-year-old former Manchester United striker.
