Ralf Rangnick reacts to Erling Haaland transfer links with Manchester United
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick disclosed that it does not make sense to spend heavily on a striker like Erling Haaland.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has become a major target for several top European clubs, but United fans who are hoping to see the Norwegian become a Red Devils need to hold their breath.
It appears the Old Trafford club won’t be attempting to sign the striker anytime soon as reports from Germany claim Rangnick dismissed he could offer just €10m (£8.5m) if he managed to convince Haaland to move to Old Trafford.
Rangnick has previous history with Haaland after being involved in the move to bring him to RB Salzburg from Molde in January 2019.
