Michael Carrick is likely to miss the services of up to seven players when Man United travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the tough Premier League encounter on Sunday, November 28.

This will be Carrick's second match in charge of United following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last Sunday.

The former midfielder was named the caretaker boss in place of Solskjaer pending the appointment of an interim manager.

Having led the Red Devils to victory against Villarreal in midweek during the Champions League, the former player-turn coach will be desperate to help United bounce back to winning ways in the domestic scene as well.

Meanwhile, David de Gea is expected to keep his place between the sticks, with Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof taking charge in the heart of defence.
