Sergio Ramos lasted just 41 minutes on the pitch after he was red-carded in PSG’s draw away at Lorient.
According to Goal, this is Ramos’ first red card for the Parisians in only just his third appearance for Mauricio Pochettino’s men due to injury and lack of fitness issues since his arrival from Spanish Giants Real Madrid last summer.
The former Sevilla defender bagged the 27th red card of his career when he got his marching orders for attempting to body-check Lorient striker Terem Moffi after the Nigerian got the better of him The Sun reports.
Mauro Icardi however proved to be the hero of the night for PSG as his last gasp equalizer in added time rescued a point for the Parisians thereby breaking the hearts of the Lorient fans who had witnessed their team take the lead in the 40th minute of the encounter.
PSG still remain safe at the top of the French Lique One standings, 13points clear of second placed Nice.
