Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Barcelona star Sergino Dest ahead of the January transfer window.
The Blues are keen to reinforce their defence options after Ben Chilwell suffered a potentially season-ending injury.
Express UK now reports the Stamford Bridge dwellers have set their sights on landing Dest who can play on both flanks, with his versatility now his biggest selling point.
According to the publication, the US international is already staring at a bleak future at Camp Nou especially after the return of Dani Alves in January which has now put Dest's position under threat.

FootballThe Blues are sure to face stiff competition in their pursuit for Dest, with Bayern Munich also said to be interested in his services.
But with the Dutch-born defender still contracted at Barca until 2025, the European champions may have to wait until next summer to stand any chance of signing him.
However, Barcelona could be forced into selling players in January in order to register Man City's Ferran Torres who they look set to sign.
The Catalan giants are understood to be closing in on completing the transfer of the City ace but will first need to sell due to La Liga's financial fair play rules.
That could therefore open the door for Chelsea to swoop in and land Dest as early as January.
Thomas Tuchel has not hidden his desire to bring in a left-back with Chilwell facing a lengthy period on the sidelines.
