Kenyan international Michael Olunga has been crowned Player of the Month for October and November following his sensational form with Al Duhail in the Qatar Stars League.
The Harambee Stars skipper was in good shape during the period under review as he notched five goals in five appearances.
The five goals included a stunning brace against Al Sadd, with the other three coming against Qatar Sporting Club, Al Rayyan, and Al Shamal.
An elated Olunga took to social media to celebrate the achievement, thanking his teammates for helping him hit top form.
“Humbled with this achievement. Thanks to all my teammates Al Duhail who helped me during the month to make it possible. God above all,” Olunga posted.
On their part, Al Duhail hailed Olunga for the milestone, noting he received the award after reaching a "special level."
“The team’s striker Michael Olunga received the best player in the league award for months October and November after the special level the player appeared within the matches he participated in and contributed in the positive results Al Duhail succeeded in achieving in the previous rounds,” the club said.
Olunga's five goals saw him go top of the goalscorers charts with 12 goals to his name thus far this season.
He will be hoping to add to his tally when Al Duhail take on Umm Salal in their next outing on Saturday, December 25.
The Luis Castro-tutored side are currently placed second on the log with 22 points from nine matches, three points behind leaders, Al Sadd.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kenya has been ranked position 102 in the latest FIFA rankings announced by the governing body on Thursday, December 23.
The position is Kenya's best this year, having moved two places up from the previous ranking.
Stars' improved performances against neighbours Uganda and Rwanda in their 2022 World Cup qualifiers back in November are understood to be responsible for the favourable ranking.
