Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has stated that he respected Cristiano Ronaldo’s hard work, as he further said Lionel Messi makes everything look easy, GiveMeSport reports.
The Bayern Munich star sums up the difference between both superstars who have now scooped 12 Ballon d’Or between themselves with Messi having seven 7 while Ronaldo has 5.
Football fans across the globe are divided in their support for both players, while Messi is a small diminutive player, renowned for his dribbling, passing and finishing ability, Ronaldo is an athlete with an incredible physical presence, capable of scoring any type of goal.
What did Lewandowski say about both players?
He told Bild via GOAL:
“I respect Cristiano Ronaldo’s hard work. For Messi, everything looks easy.
“I think Cristiano had to work harder for his success. We’re not quite sure who Lewandowski is siding with but he’s absolutely spot on."
Messi is naturally an incredible footballer and was always destined for greatness. As for Ronaldo, he’s had to work extremely hard to get to where he is and continues to do so despite being 36-years-old.
Lewandowski is more than qualified to have his opinion too.
Meanwhile, Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo would stop at nothing when it comes to properties as he is said to be obsessed with them.
