Harambee Stars captain, Victor Wanyama, has identified Kenya's Group C rivals Senegal and Algeria alongside Morocco and hosts Egypt as favourites for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations title.

Wanyama contends the four teams are strong enough to claim the 32nd edition of the continental tournament that kicked off on Friday, June 21.

The Tottenham midfielder however believes Kenya can still find their way through the group which also includes Tanzania.

"We will play very difficult matches against teams with top-class stars in the world's top tournaments, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez and many more, but we are confident in our ability as a group to emerge well and qualify for the second round," he declared.
