Guardiola missed out of competing for the Champions League title this season having being dumped out of the competition by fellow EPL side Tottenham at the quarterfinal stage.

Give Me Sport however reports that the Old Lady have agreed to hire the Spaniard as replacement for Massimiliano Allegri, who parted ways with the club this month.

The former Barcelona player and manager has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium with Juve predicted as possible destination for the coach.

GMS further revealed that Allegri's departure from the Allianz Stadium heightened the speculation linking the City boss to take over the Serie A side.

However, the Spaniard has shot down those stories down, saying: "I'm not going to Juventus or to Italy. I have two more years here.

"I'm not going to move, I'm satisfied here, I'm not going anywhere. Next season I will be manager of Manchester City."

Few days after miking those comments, Guardiola was said to have made a dramatic U-turn according to Onda Cero, per football-italia.

The reports claim the Spanish born manager met Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan on Tuesday.

Hours later, Federico Gennarelli of Italian publication Radio Sportiva claimed that Guardiola had signed a four-year deal with Juventus.

"It was supposed to be the decisive day," he wrote. "It was: Pep #Guardiola will be the new coach of the #Juventus. 4-year contract. Deal done."

TUKO.co.ke earlier reported that Allegri has agreed to part ways with Juventus at the end of this season after five years in charge of the club.

The Italian born tactician took charge of the Serie A club in 2014 and has won the league title every single season since he joined them.

Juve signed Cristiano Ronaldo last summer in a bid to finally win the Champions League this campaign but were dumped out of the competition by Ajax at the quarterfinal stage.
