The report notes that the screening process has been conducted both virtually and physically, depending on the preferences of the coaching candidates.
NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau, and Sports Minister, John Enoh, were initially reported to have travelled to London, with the trip focused on the appointment of a new coach for the Super Eagles.
The report concludes that the football federation is not ruling out using the same techniques and methods employed during the appointments of Jose Peseiro and Gernot Rohr, where the NFF president overruled the technical committee to make the final decision.
According to data from FotMob, the Super Eagles are currently at risk of missing out on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, sitting fifth in their Group C standings.
