Former Liverpool midfielder, Dietmar Hamann, has delivered another sharp critique of Jude Bellingham, asserting that the young star is heavily reliant on his teammates.

Hamann, who has transitioned to a career as a pundit, recently argued that the Englishman should not be viewed as a leading contender for the 2024 Ballon d'Or award.

He further stated that the 21-year-old has been underwhelming since December 2023, accusing the Stourbridge-born midfielder of coasting on momentum rather than relying on substance.

The 50-year-old continued his criticism by highlighting Bellingham's lacklustre impact in England's performances at Euro 2024, maintaining his unrelenting stance against the Real Madrid star.

Liverpool legend criticises Bellingham again

In his latest remarks, the former Germany international emphasised Bellingham's dependency on his teammates.

"Without his teammates, Jude Bellingham is nothing," former Liverpool midfielder, Hamann, told Bild, as cited by Tribuna.

Hamann expressed his scepticism about the former Borussia Dortmund captain's overall contribution, suggesting that aside from scoring goals, he offers little to England's squad.

"Apart from his goals, he does nothing. He was not seen in the first four games [at the Euros]. I want to wait and see where he will be in 2-3 years."

Bellingham's attitude criticised

In a related publication, Sports Brief reported that Hamann criticised Jude Bellingham's attitude, accusing him of disrespecting other opponents.

The former German international suggested the Englishman needed to be mindful of his conduct on the pitch, as it has reportedly angered many people.

Bellingham endorsed to win Ballon d'Or

In another reported related to Bellingham report, Sports Brief highlighted Kobbie Mainoo's endorsement of his England teammate for this year's Ballon d'Or.

The English superstar's stellar debut season at Real Madrid, coupled with a potential Euro 2024 title, would solidify his candidacy for the prestigious golden ball.
