Kaizer Chiefs are in the transfer market searching for new players to make up their squad under their rumoured new manager, Nasreddine Nabi.

The Glamour Boys are yet to announce their first signing but have confirmed the departure of some of their experienced players.

Players Kaizer Chiefs can sign for free

1. Gaston Sirino

The Uruguayan playmaker is without a club after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns alongside three other players earlier this month.

The 33-year-old has been in the Premier Soccer League since 2018 and has won the DStv Premiership six times. If signed this summer, his experience would be valuable to the Soweto giants.

2. Kermit Erasmus

Erasmus is also without a club after being released by Kaizer Chiefs' city rivals, Orlando Pirates, last month and would prefer to stay in the South African league.

The 33-year-old striker has experience in Europe and the PSL, and would be a good addition to the Glamour Boys squad.

3. Bongani Zungu

The South African midfielder was also released by Mamelodi Sundowns and is looking for a new project in the PSL.

With the departure of Keagan Dolly, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo, and Jason Gonzalez, the Soweto giants need a midfielder like Zungu in their team.

4. Lebo Mothiba

Mothiba has been linked with a summer move to Amakhosi after French Ligue 1 side, Strasbourg, released him.

The Bafana Bafana striker can offer a better option in the Chiefs' attack, as they struggled to score goals last season.

5. Richard Ofori

Ofori's time with Orlando Pirates ended this summer, and he could be a perfect replacement for Itumeleng Khune, whose future at the club still needs to be clearly defined.

The Ghanaian international goalkeeper can be a perfect squad player, with Bruce Bvuma being the first choice.
