Kaizer Chiefs to offer R12m for Mokwana

According to a report by Soccer Laduma, as per the South African, Kaizer Chiefs are willing to offer R12 million to Sekhukhune United for South African international Elias Mokwana.

Sekhukhune United values the Bafana Bafana star locally at around R15 million, but Amakhosi are only willing to pay R12 million.

Reports also suggest that Dinoko is hoping a foreign club will show interest in Mokwana, as they value him at R25 million to R30 million on the international market.

Kaizer Chiefs are not the only PSL team interested in Mokwana; Orlando Pirates are also monitoring the South African winger.

The player's agent, Pontsho Madumo, claimed that they are not responsible for the transfer fee as their role is to negotiate personal terms.

"Our involvement focuses on the player’s terms. Not the transfer fee itself," he said.
"Elias is under a long-term contract with Sekhukhune United. And his value has risen significantly since joining the national team."

Sports Brief earlier reported that Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly in pole position to sign Orlando Pirates star as Sifiso Hlanti's replacement in this summer transfer window.

The Glamour Boys are in the transfer market, searching for a new left-back after Hlanti was released alongside Keagan Dolly, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo, and Jason Gonzalez.
