Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams may be global superstars, but they're still two youngsters at heart.

As noted by The Guardian, Spain overturned an early goal to beat the debutants and secure their place in the tournament's quarter-final.

They will now play the hosts Germany for a place in the semi-final.

While many were raving over the performance of the Spanish side, particularly their youngsters, it was Yamal and Williams' antics after the game that got people laughing.

Spanish youngsters play Rock, Paper, Scissors

After the final whistle, the 16-year-old Yamal and the 21-year-old Williams were spotted engaging in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, seemingly for the right to drink from a water bottle first.

Williams won the mini contest and got to drink from the bottle first, while Yamal playfully tried to take it off him.

The Athletic Bilbao winger then gave his younger compatriot the bottle, although there wasn't much left in it.

Williams and Yamal's budding friendship

It should come as no surprise how well the duo get on.

Despite both being from different clubs in La Liga, they are among the team's younger stars and have a good friendship away from the game as well.

Yamal and Williams have previously set social media ablaze with their moves, as videos of them dancing have circulated online.

Their fancy footwork also translates to the pitch, as the pair ran riot at the tournament, leaving many defenders scratching their heads.

Piers Morgan urges Arsenal to sign Williams

Sports Brief reported that British journalist and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has urged the club to sign Nico Williams.

The Athletic Bilbao winger has been turning heads with his performances for Spain at the ongoing Euro 2024.

The 21-year-old has attracted a lot of interest from teams in Europe, but Morgan wants to see him at the Gunners.
