Chelsea are reportedly close to sealing their fourth summer signing after Leicester City ace, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, travelling to Stamford Bridge for his medicals.

The Blues have embarked on a spending spree in preparation for the 2024/25 season under new boss, Enzo Maresca.

The Premier League giants recently snapped up Maresca from the King Power Stadium to replace Mauricio Pochettion.

Pochettion, who led Chelsea to a sixth-place finish in the EPL, was dismissed after the 2023/24 campaign.

The Argentine spent just a season at the helm of affairs, having taken over from Frank Lampard, who was in charge on an interim basis in the summer of 2023.

The West Londoners are now seemingly keen to back Maresca with new signings to ensure the manager is well-equipped for the new season.

Metro UK reports that the club are a step closer to reuniting the tactician with

Dewsbury-Hall, who played under him at Leicester City.

The midfielder is understood to have travelled to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, June 30, to have his medicals.

Per The Athletic, Chelsea have now agreed a deal with the Foxes for the midfielder.

The 25-year-old will become the English giants' fourth signing following the arrivals of Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman and Estevao Willian.

Dewsbury-Hall has spent his entire career with Leicester, making over 100 league appearances for the club.

He played a key part in the club's impressive Championship win last season.
