Kaizer Chiefs have missed out on one of their transfer targets, who has signed a new contract extension with Premier Soccer League side, Richards Bay.
Salim Magoola has been linked with a summer move to the Glamour Boys, and he is reportedly seen as a perfect replacement for Itumeleng Khune.
The 29-year-old shot-stopper is one of the best goalkeepers in the DStv Premiership, but it seems interest from the Soweto giants will lead to nothing.
According to a report by iDiskiTimes, Richards Bay took to their official handle on X to confirm that Magoola signed a new three-year deal amid interest from various top clubs.

The Richboyz opted to go all out for the Ugandan goalkeeper after they confirmed their status in the DStv Premiership for next season.
Magoola played 59 games and kept 22 clean sheets since joining Richards Bay in 2022. He previously played for Al-Hilal, Al-Merrikh SC, and Kampala CC.
Chiefs will now need to shift focus to another target as they eye a rebuild after a dismal outing last campaign.
