Manchester United fans will not be happy with the predictions of the supercomputer as their club has been tipped to finish fifth on the table at the end of the season.

The Red Devils are currently second on the Premier League table with 40 points - one behind city rivals Manchester City who have one game in hand.

But the mainframe machine believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men will end up outside of the top four teams on the log with 69 points in May.

Chelsea, on the other hand, may have changed their manager recently, the supercomputer still feels their performance will not improve.

The Blues are predicted to finish 10th on the log with a total of 60 points after 38 rounds of fixtures in the English topflight.

Meanwhile, defending champions Liverpool, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur are expected to wrap up the top four teams when the season comes to an end a few months from now.

Everton will accompany Man United in the Europa League next season according to their positions on the rankings as predicted by the machine.

Meanwhile, the trio of Fulham West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United will relegate on the final day of this campaign.

Solskjaer's men lost their fourth EPL game of the season following their 2-1 defeat to Chris Wilder's men during the week and this hindered them from overtaking City at the summit of the table.

And the supercomputer believes they will drop more points before the season comes to a halt in the next four months.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Frank Lampard recently parted ways with Chelsea after failing to get the best out of his players but he may not be out of a job for long.

The 42-year-old manager has now been linked with a number of positions as predicted by the bookies.

Lampard only lasted 18 months at the helm of affairs at Stamford Bridge after the Blues slipped to ninth on the table and their qualification for continental football under immense threat.
