Chelsea legend, Eden Hazard, continues to prove that he is only getting better after shining against Euro giants during his return to football.

The former winger announced his retirement from football back in October 2023 at the age of 32 after a disastrous spell at Real Madrid.

According to ESPN, Hazard enjoyed a largely successful 16-year stint in the game, playing for both Lille and Chelsea before he moved to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Hazard was subsequently forced to call time on his career via an emotional statement shared on his Instagram.

Hazard scores against Euro giants

Despite his retirement, the Chelsea icon has often returned to the pitch to do what he does best.

On Wednesday, June 26, the retired winger was on the pitch against Belgian giants, Anderlecht. Hazard was turning out for minnows, Royale Union Tubize-Braine, during the friendly clash.

While his side was on the losing side, the former Real Madrid star largely impressed, lighting up the pitch with his incredible football skills.

With Royale Union Tubize-Braine losing 4-0, the 33-year-old stepped up to score his side's consolation.

The captain of the day rolled back the years as he danced through Anderlecht's defence before unleashing a powerful shot into the far corner to find the back of the net.

His performance came only days after he put in a dazzling display for the World XI during Soccer Aid 2024 at Stamford Bridge, per Goal.

Hazard is widely regarded as one of the Premier League's greatest wingers, thanks to his incredible time at Chelsea, where he scored 110 goals in 352 appearances for the Blues.
