Euro 2024's best XI from the group stage has been compiled, with Spain’s Lamine Yamal and Germany’s Jamal Musiala among youngsters who have been included in the team.

Musiala is one of the leading scorers of the continental competition with two goals for Julian Nagelsmann’s team while Yamal has been crucial to La Roja’s progress to the Round of 16.

According to Sport Bible, the Euro 2024's best XI from the group stage has three players from Spain, including Marc Cucurella and Fabian Ruiz, as well as Georgia's Giorgi Mamardashvili and Georges Mikautadze.

According to UEFA, Yamal, who made history by becoming the youngest ever player to feature at Euros at 16 years 338 days, is joined by Slovakia's Stanislav Lobotka and Premier League legend, N'Golo Kante.

Kante has also shone like a million stars at this year’s tournament after making a comeback to the France national team following a two-year absence.

Meanwhile, Germany legend, Lothar Matthaus, has described Yamal as the heir to Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi after the teenager’s exceptional performances at Euro 2024, GOAL reports.

The 16-year-old winger gave Croatia and Italy nightmares as a starter in Spain's first two wins and has been touted as one of the stars of the tournament already.

Spain and Germain in same Euro draw

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that France and Spain will be on the same side of the draw as Germany and Portugal heading into the Euro 2024 knockout stage.

Pairings are determined by the outcomes of the previous round, ensuring a variety of potential match-ups where winners from one side face fellow winners.
