England has been dealt a blow as one of their more important players, Phil Foden, has left the camp.
The Manchester City ace returned to England, barely 24 hours after playing for 89 minutes against Slovenia in The Three Lions’ final group game.
Gareth Southgate’s side was once again underwhelming in their performance on Tuesday, June 25, although a draw was enough to see them win Group C.

The Mirror provided further details why Foden suddenly left his national team.
According to the publication, the 24-year-old returned to England for the birth of his third child.
Foden has two children with his childhood sweetheart Rebecca Cooke - a son Ronnie, and a daughter, who arrived in 2021.
Ronnie Foden is quite popular on Instagram. Since his parents set up his account, he has gained more than four million followers.
In one of the photos from Ronnie’s Instagram, his mother, Rebecca, can be seen with a baby bump, indicating she is in the latter stages of her pregnancy.

Since England’s next game is on Sunday, June 30, Foden has ample time to attend to his family commitments and return in time for his nation’s round-of-16 clash.
