The South African international has one more year on his contract with the Egyptian giants but reports about him wanting to leave have been flying around.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns star is on Amakhosi's radar this summer as the Premier Soccer League side hopes to add top players to their squad for next season.

According to a report by Koora, as per iDiskiTimes, Saudi Pro League sides Al Shabab and Al-Khoolod have contacted Tau over a possible transfer move this summer.

The former Brighton star could join Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, and Odion Ighalo in the Saudi League.

Tau's statistics as Al Ahly player

The Bafana Bafana forward was signed by Pitso Mosimane for the Red Devils in 2021 and has won the CAF Champions League twice alongside the Egyptian Premier League.

In three seasons, Tau has won 9 titles with Al Ahly and could add another one this campaign.

He scored 25 goals and registered 13 assists in 106 appearances for the Egyptian giants, according to iDiskiTimes.
