Robert Lewandowski may not have had the Euro 2024 he would have wanted, but it did end on a somewhat high note.

The Polish attacker scored in a 1-1 draw against France on June 25, making history in the process.

His goal ensured that Poland didn't suffer three defeats in a row and gave him his fourth goal in four European Championships.

Sports Brief looks at who achieved the feat already and how they fared.

European footballers who scored 4 in 4

Cristiano Ronaldo

It's no surprise to see Cristiano Ronaldo holding a record related to scoring.

As noted by UEFA.com, the Portuguese superstar is the only man to score in five different editions of the tournament.

CR7 scored his first in the 2004 edition and has scored in every Euro tournament he has played in since.

Since his first goal on June 12, 2004, he has gone on to find the back of the net 14 times in the competition, the most of any player in history.

Luka Modric

Like Ronaldo, the Croatian midfielder has been a staple of many European Championships and has scored in numerous editions.

With his goal against Italy, Modric brought up his fourth goal in four different editions of the tournament, but the moment was bittersweet.

The goal also made him the oldest scorer in Euro history, but it was not enough to give Croatia a much-needed win, ESPN reported.

Robert Lewandowski

The Polish captain was a doubt for the tournament, having picked up an injury prior to it starting.

Lewandowski played 30 minutes in a loss to Austria, and then the full 90 minutes against France, where he finally got onto the scoresheet.

The Barcelona striker scored from the penalty spot to notch up his fourth goal in four different editions of the tournament.

Mbappe appears to insult Lewandowski

Sports Brief also reported how Kylian Mbappe was unhappy with Lewandowski during France’s game with Poland.

The French captain appeared to insult the Polish striker after Lewa seemed to hit the Real Madrid star in the face.

Mbappe broke his nose against Austria and has been forced to wear a protective facial mask in upcoming games.
