His contract at Al-Nassr expires in 2025, but according to Talksport, both parties are willing to extend it for one more year, which will see him play until the summer of 2026.

Ronaldo buys mansion in Jumeirah Bay

According to Semana, Ronaldo, 39, and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, 30, have spent €25 million to secure a mansion in Jumeirah Bay, the 'island of the rich', in Dubai, UAE.

Jumeirah Bay Island is an artificial seahorse-shaped island off the coast of Dubai, a few kilometres from Palm Islands, managed by the Palace Luxury Living group.

Only 15 mansions have been built on the island so far. In addition to residential properties, it has a private yacht club, a beach club, gyms, gourmet restaurants, and five-star hotels, such as the Mandarin Oriental and the Bulgari Resort.

Ronaldo's mansion is expected to be completed in December, but it is unclear when he plans to move in with his family.

Where does Ronaldo own other houses?

The former Real Madrid star is a lover of luxury, and being one of the richest footballers in the world, does not shy away from owning expensive properties.

According to Sportskeeda, he owns mansions in four different locations in Portugal - his hometown of Madeira and others such as Geres and Lisbon. The best of the lot is the one at Cascais, which is worth $22mil.

He also owns properties in New York, two in Spain at Marbella and Madrid, as well as in Turin, which he bought during his time at Juventus.

Despite being the highest-paid footballer in the world with his salary at Al-Nassr, he recoups significant income from his businesses, including hotels and his clothing lines.
