French manager, Herve Renard, has been linked with the Super Eagles of Nigeria's vacant coaching job after Finidi George reportedly resigned from the role a few days ago.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reportedly placed the France Women's national team as the top target to replace Finidi George.

Renard's first job on African soil was with the Chipolopolo of Zambia in 2008. He led them to the quarter-final stage of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in 14 years.
With two months left on his two-year contract, the French tactician left Zambia to take up Angola's coaching job.
After a year, Renard returned to Zambia for his second spell and led the team to their first-ever AFCON title in 2012, beating Ivory Coast in the final on penalties.
He also led to their fourth COSAFA Cup title in 2013 after defeating Zimbabwe in the finals.
2. Ivory Coast
Renard returned to African football in 2014 after one season with Sochaux in the French Ligue 1 and was named Ivory Coast head coach in July 2014.

FootballHe qualified the Elephants for the 2015 AFCON and led them to victory, becoming the first coach to win the competition twice with different countries.
The 55-year-old left his role as Ivory Coast manager for the French league, joining Lille.
3. Morocco
After six months on the job, Renard was sacked by Lille, returned to Africa for the third time, and was named Morocco's national team coach.
He didn't win the AFCON with the Atlas Lions, but in 2018, he led them to their first FIFA World Cup since 1998.
At the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Morocco didn't win any of its group games but was close to defeating Spain. A late goal from Iago Aspas earned a draw for La Roja.
