Kaizer Chiefs are set to appoint Nasreddine Nabi as their coach in the coming days.

The AS FAR Rabat coach's time with the Moroccan club is widely expected to end this month after the club's final game of the season.

Former Young African player, Said Juma Makapu, has shed light on what working under the Tunisian tactician is like.

Chiefs are looking to bounce back following years of underachievement. The Soweto giants have not won a trophy in the last nine seasons and finished 37 points behind the league champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, last season.

Nabi's team narrowly missed out on the Morrocan league trophy last season but he has a solid track record of winning titles in the continent.

Kaizer Chief players warned about Nabi

Nabi joined AS FAR last year after leaving Yanga in Tanzania following a brief but successful spell. His former player at Yanga, Said Juma Makapu, has discussed Nabi's approach to management and issued a warning to players, per KickOff.

"What I have to make note of is that he is a coach that loves hard workers. If you are not a hard worker and committed to your work, then you are going to be in big trouble with Nabi. The players need to have good habits," he said.

Makapu added that Nabi won't condone indiscipline since he has a winning mentality.

"What I also need to mention is that he likes disciplined players because for him, when you don't have discipline, then you don't play football. This is also a coach that wants to win all the time, so you must understand how he is bound to react when it is not going his way."

Chiefs faced indiscipline issues last season. Their most experienced player, Itumeleng Khune, was suspended for several months for alleged gross misconduct, per News24.

How Kaizer Chiefs will play under Nabi

Sports Brief earlier reported on Raja Casablanca coach, Fadlu Davids, discussing Nasreddine Nabi's tactics.

Davids said the former Young Africans boss employed a direct style of play and liked to utilise the set pieces.
