According to Metro UK, Fabregas has named both Germany and Spain as the most complete teams in Euro 2024 and is backing both countries for the title in July.

‘So far, Germany and Spain. They have very similar qualities, similar type of football, similar principles. They look comfortable and, yeah, they are the ones that are more ready to play this modern, intensive, aggressive football.
‘They are good on the ball, disciplined tactically. I think they are the most complete teams in the tournament at the moment.’

Germany and Spain are the most successful teams in the history of the European championship, winning the tournament three times each.

Spain wants group-stage perfection

Meanwhile, Spain's head coach, Luis de la Fuente, is searching to secure three wins out of the first three games when La Roja takes on Albania in their final group game, Vavel reports.

The three-time European champions have secured back-to-back wins against Croatia and Italy to top Group B with six points and are guaranteed passage into the Round of 16 as group winners.

De La Fuente has vowed not to go easy against Albania in their final group game on Tuesday, June 24, as he seeks to grab all three points available in the tie.

Fabregas sends message to Foden

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Fabregas has sent a wake-up call to Phil Foden following the Manchester City forward’s poor display in England’s opening Euro 2024 group game.

The England forward struggled against Serbia and was left to play 90 minutes despite being a passenger in the match and having no attacking contribution.
