It’s safe to say that Kylian Mbappe does not like wearing his mask while playing.

After breaking his nose against Austria, the French star will have to wear a mask for the rest of the European Championship tournament.

As noted by Al Jazeera, the Real Madrid superstar suffered a broken nose after an accidental collision with Kevin Danso.

Mbappe’s hilarious celebration captured

While the 25-year-old has yet to wear the mask during a game, he has had it on during training for France’s upcoming games.

As a recent video from a training session suggested, the former Paris Saint-Germain striker still isn’t too keen on wearing it.

The French captain scored a goal in a training session and celebrated hilariously by taking off his mask and throwing it in the air.

Mbappe could feature in next group game

Following his nasty injury, Mbappe returned to training with the French squad, but didn’t play in their second group game against the Netherlands.

Le Bleus will take on Poland in their final group game, and Mbappe is expected to return for the fixture.

GOAL noted that the striker played a friendly game behind closed doors, scoring a brace and showing good form ahead of their next game.

Depending on the results of the final game, France could finish first, second, or third in the group. Austria will take on Netherlands in the one fixture, while the French will face Poland in the other.

Why Mbappe can’t wear new mask

Sports Brief reported how Mbappe will not be allowed to wear his new French-themed mask.

The Real Madrid star has been spotted wearing a mask adorned with the colours of the French flag.

While it’s permitted in training, he will not be allowed actually to wear it during an official fixture.
