Patrik Schick can’t stop scoring at the European Championships.

The Czech Republic star once again got onto the scoresheet at the tournament, this time during his side’s game against Georgia.

As noted by BBC, Schick scored in the 59th minute of the game as Czechia drew with the debutants.

The draw gave Georgia their first-ever point in the tournament, and Schick’s goal saw him overtake Cristiano Ronaldo on the list of top scorers in the last two editions of Euro.

Top scorers in Euro 2020/ 2024

Patrik Schick

The 28-year-old has been impressive for both club and country in recent times, helping Bayer Leverkusen to a league and cup double this season.

On the international front, his equaliser against Georgia increased his goal tally to six in the past two editions of the European Championships.

Schick scored five in the 2020 edition, finishing as the joint-top scorer.

He may not get a chance to add to his tally this tournament after leaving the pitch with a suspected injury, casting doubt on his participation in the rest of the tournament.

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Portuguese superstar shared the top-scorer honours with the Czech Republic star last tournament but has been unable to add to this tally at this Euro.

CR7 failed to score against both Czechia and Türkiye but did notch up an assist.

SuperSport.com noted that the Al-Nassr star could become the oldest scorer in the tournament’s history if he finds the back of the net in Germany.

Harry Kane

The Englishman will be looking to put the misery of another trophyless season behind him as he spearheads the English attack at Euro 2024.

Kane, who is no stranger to scoring in Germany, found the back of the net against Denmark to take his tally to five goals over the two editions.

Sadly, it wasn’t enough for the Three Lions to claim all three points.

GOAL noted that the skipper called a player’s only meeting following the draw against the Danes as England looks to bounce back in their final group game against Slovenia.

Czech star unhappy with Ronaldo’s celebration

Sports Brief reported how the Czech Republic’s Tomas Holes was unhappy with Portugal's Ronaldo.

Holes was upset with the Al-Nassr star, believing that he was disrespectful with his goal celebration.

Portugal scored a late winner, and CR7, who was in the box at the time, appeared to taunt the Czech goalkeeper.
