Real Madrid star, Arda Guler, has shared his thoughts on facing Al Nassr star, Cristiano Ronaldo, in Turkey's clash with Portugal at the ongoing 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany.

The former Fenerbahce star scored a fantastic goal in Turkey's 3-1 win over Georgia in their opening fixture. At the same time, Ronaldo failed to find the back of the net in Portugal's win over the Czech Republic.

Both players hope to lead their country to victory when they clash at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday, June 22.

In a pre-match interview ahead of the game, Guler claimed that it's an honour to come up against Ronaldo in the competition, and it would be the first time playing against the former Real Madrid star.

"It's an honour for me, and I am proud to play against Cristiano Ronaldo," the Turkish international said.
