What does Musiala's 'three to the dome' mean?

The 'three to the dome' celebration traces its roots to the NBA, where it was popularised by former professional basketball star, Carmelo Anthony.

The former New York Knicks power forward actually took the celebration from his teammate at Knicks, Rasheed Wallace. The two started practising three-pointers in training, with Wallace telling Melo, 'That's three to the dome' every time he made one.

As the Athletic reports, Melo carried it over and made the gesture every time he scored. Possible explanations of the gesture are showing opponents that you've given an easy three-pointer away to Wallace and Melo, or you've just been shot in the head by a three-pointer after conceding the shot.

There is no direct equivalence of a three-pointer in football but Musiala is a known basketball fan. In a past interview with Copa 90, he admitted that he liked Golden State Warriors guard, Steph Curry.
