"Impressed me not," the 31-year-old responded, as cited by Euro Foot when he was quipped about the Real Madrid star's showing at the 2024 Euros.
How has Bellingham performed at Euro 2024?
Fullkrug's evaluation of the 2024 Ballon d'Or contender seems overly critical, given that he scored the match-winner and delivered a man-of-the-match performance in England's opening game against Serbia.
"Decisive offensively and defensively, covered a lot of ground, involved all through the match and scored the decisive goal," the UEFA Technical Observer panel said about the 20-year-old.
In the interim, Bellingham would hope to prove decisive for the second game in the row for the Three Lions when they take on Denmark at the Deutsche Bank Park on Thursday, June 20.
